Everything you need to know about staying with EuroEast Ventures — our luxury short-term apartments on Calea Victoriei, in the heart of Bucharest's Old Town. Can't find your answer below? We're a WhatsApp message away.

Booking & Payment

How do I book one of your apartments?

The fastest way is to book directly on our website at euroeastventures.com, or send us a booking request on WhatsApp at +40 743 255 145. You'll get live availability and a confirmation within a few hours, usually much faster.

You can also find us on Booking.com, but…

Direct bookings save you 15%. The exact same apartment costs more on Booking.com because of platform fees. Book direct for the lower price, priority support, and a real human you can reach by message.
Is it safe to book direct?

Yes. Direct bookings are handled through a secure booking flow, and card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

EuroEast Ventures can issue VAT-compliant invoices on request, and the apartment address is clearly shown before arrival. You can also check our public guest reviews before booking.

Direct guests are covered by our published cancellation policy and get direct WhatsApp support at +40 743 255 145 before and during the stay.
What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe — Visa, Mastercard, and American Express — as well as Apple Pay. Payments are processed securely; we never see or store your card details.

For longer stays or corporate bookings, we can also issue an invoice and accept bank transfer in EUR or RON. Just message us on WhatsApp to arrange it.

When am I charged for my stay?

If your booking is within 30 days of check-in, the full amount is charged at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.

If you're booking well in advance, a refundable security deposit of 1,000 RON (around €200) is charged at booking to secure your dates, and the remaining balance is charged 30 days before arrival.

What's your cancellation policy?

Our standard policy for direct bookings is a free full refund if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in. Cancellations within 14 days are 50% refundable, and within 48 hours of arrival are non-refundable.

Bookings made through Booking.com follow that website's terms and conditions. If your travel plans change because of a flight cancellation or genuine emergency, message us — we try to be reasonable.

Is there a minimum stay?

3 nights minimum. For live availability and any seasonal restrictions on your dates, check directly on our booking page.

Do you offer discounts for longer stays?

Yes. For longer stays, please get in touch directly on WhatsApp and we'll send you our best price.

Will I get a receipt or invoice for my company?

Absolutely. We issue VAT-compliant invoices on request — just send us your company name, registered address, VAT/Tax ID and any reference your finance team needs, and we'll have it back to you within one business day.

Check-in & Amenities

What time is check-in and check-out?

Standard check-in is from 2:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM. Because we use keyless entry, you can arrive any time after 2:00 PM that suits you — there's no front desk to queue at.

Need to drop bags earlier or leave later? Just ask. We'll do our best to accommodate depending on the cleaning schedule, and early/late access is often free.

How does keyless entry work?

Each apartment has a smart lock with a personalised access code. On the morning of your arrival, we'll send you a check-in message with:

  • The full address and a Google Maps pin
  • Your unique 4–6 digit door code
  • Wi-Fi network name and password
  • A short video walkthrough of the building entrance and lift

No keys to collect, no host to meet. You walk in whenever you arrive. We're on WhatsApp if anything looks off.

Is the apartment cleaned before I arrive?

Yes. Every apartment is professionally cleaned and sanitised between guests. Fresh linens, fresh towels, and a fully restocked bathroom are standard. We also check that small things like the Brita filter, kettle and Wi-Fi are working before each arrival.

What amenities are included?

Each of our apartments — Paris, London, and New York — comes fully equipped with:

  • High-speed fibre Wi-Fi
  • Fully equipped kitchen with high-end appliances, induction hob, oven and Nespresso machine
  • Brita-filtered drinking water
  • Air conditioning & heating
  • Smart TV with international streaming apps
  • Premium linens and towels, hairdryer, iron
  • Universal/EU sockets and USB charging points
  • Toiletries, coffee, tea and basic kitchen starter pack
How fast is the Wi-Fi? Can I work from the apartment?

All apartments have fibre internet — typically 300+ Mbps download — which is plenty for video calls, large file transfers, and streaming on multiple devices at once. There's a dedicated workspace with a desk and a comfortable chair so you can work a full day without compromise.

Do you provide toiletries, coffee, and basic supplies?

Yes — you'll find shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap in the bathroom, and a welcome pack in the kitchen with coffee pods, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, dish soap, sponges, and trash bags. Enough to settle in without an immediate supermarket run.

Is there housekeeping during my stay?

For stays of one week or more, we include a complimentary mid-stay refresh — fresh linens, fresh towels, and a tidy. For shorter stays, additional cleaning or extra towels can be arranged for a small fee, just message us a day in advance.

What if something breaks or I need help during my stay?

Send us a WhatsApp message at +40 743 255 145. We respond within minutes during the day and as fast as we can overnight. We have local partners for plumbing, internet and appliances, and we treat fixing things urgently as part of the job.

How does check-out work?

Easy. Before 10:00 AM on your departure day: take the rubbish to the chute or bin in the hallway, close the windows, and pull the door closed behind you — the smart lock handles the rest. No need to drop keys or wait for anyone.

Location & Transport

Where exactly are the apartments located?

All three apartments are at Calea Victoriei 1–5, the most iconic street in Bucharest. You're a short walk from the Old Town (Centrul Vechi), the Romanian Athenaeum, Revolution Square, and dozens of restaurants, bars, cafés, and shops. The Palace of the Parliament is about 25 minutes on foot.

How do I get from Henri Coandă (Otopeni) Airport to the apartment?

You have three good options from Bucharest's main airport (OTP):

  • Taxi or rideshare (~35–50 minutes, ~80–120 RON / €16–24): Bolt and Uber both work well at Otopeni and are usually the easiest. Use the official taxi kiosks on arrivals if you prefer a metered cab.
  • Express bus 783 (~50 minutes, ~7 RON): Runs 24/7 from the airport to Piața Victoriei and Piața Unirii — get off at Piața Romană or Piața Universității for the closest walk.
  • Train (~25 minutes, ~7 RON): The new airport rail link runs to Gara de Nord. From there, it's a 10-minute taxi or one metro stop on the M1 line.

Need a private airport pickup arranged in advance? Message us — we have a regular driver we trust.

Can I get around Bucharest easily from this location?

From Calea Victoriei you can:

  • Walk to almost all the major sights in the historic centre in 5–20 minutes.
  • Take the metro from Piața Romană (M2) or Piața Universității (M2), both within 5–10 minutes' walk. A single ride is around 3 RON.
  • Use Bolt or Uber — typically €3–€6 for cross-city rides; both apps work flawlessly here.
  • Hop on a tram or bus — buy a contactless travel card or pay contactless with a bank card on most buses and trams.
Is there parking?

We don't have private parking attached to the building, but there are several paid parking garages within a 3–5 minute walk (around €15–25 per day). Street parking on Calea Victoriei itself is metered and limited; we recommend a garage if you're driving.

Honestly, most guests don't need a car — the city centre is walkable and rideshare is cheap. If you've rented one for a road trip, message us and we'll point you to the nearest secure garage.

Is the neighbourhood safe, especially at night?

Yes. Calea Victoriei and the Old Town are among the most central and well-lit parts of Bucharest, with a steady flow of people, restaurants, and police presence late into the night. Use the same common-sense awareness you would in any major European capital and you'll be perfectly comfortable walking back to the apartment after dinner.

Where's the closest supermarket, pharmacy, or ATM?

All within a 3–7 minute walk: a Mega Image supermarket (open early to late, seven days), multiple 24-hour pharmacies, and ATMs from all major Romanian banks. The check-in message we send before arrival includes a small map with our favourite local spots pinned.

What are the best things to do nearby?

A few favourites within walking distance:

  • The Old Town — restaurants, bars, Stavropoleos Monastery, Lipscani street life
  • Romanian Athenaeum — concerts and the most beautiful concert hall in the country
  • Revolution Square & the former Royal Palace (now the National Museum of Art)
  • Cărturești Carusel — a gorgeous bookstore inside a 19th-century building
  • Cișmigiu Gardens — the city's prettiest park, ten minutes' walk

We also keep a curated guide on our blog with neighbourhood walks, restaurants we actually eat at, and day trips out of Bucharest.

House Rules & Policies

Are pets allowed?

Unfortunately not. To keep our apartments fresh and accessible to guests with allergies, we don't accept pets. Service animals are an exception — please let us know in advance so we can prepare the apartment.

Is smoking allowed?

All our apartments are strictly non-smoking, including e-cigarettes and vaping. You're welcome to smoke outside. A deep-cleaning fee applies if smoking is detected after check-out.

Can I host a party or event?

No parties or events, please. The building is residential and our neighbours appreciate quiet evenings. Having friends over for dinner or drinks is absolutely fine — just keep the volume neighbour-friendly after 10:00 PM.

How many guests can stay in each apartment?

Each apartment is designed comfortably for two guests, with the option to host a third using the living-room sofa bed. Maximum occupancy is two adults plus one child, or three adults — please message us in advance if you'd like to use the sofa bed.

Do I need to register with my passport or ID?

No registration required. No paperwork, no forms — just walk in with your access code and enjoy your stay.

Is there a minimum age to book?

The lead guest must be at least 21 years old. Younger travellers are welcome as part of the booking, but we ask the person on the reservation to be of age and able to provide valid ID.

What happens if something gets damaged?

Accidents happen — a broken glass or a stained towel is part of life and we don't charge for normal wear and tear. For more significant damage, the security pre-auth on your card may be used to cover repair or replacement, and we'll always send photos and an honest estimate before charging anything.

Do you have a lost-and-found policy?

We do. If you leave something behind, message us as soon as you notice and we'll check the apartment. We can ship items back to you anywhere in the world — you cover the courier cost. Items unclaimed after 30 days are donated.

Still have a question?

We answer fast — usually within minutes during the day.
